Dealing with NMS was a delightful experience, they provide a personal and friendly experience for me and my family. They where great movers and great staff. I found them through a friend, even though they ware in Simi Valley and I was in Reseda, they provided prompt pick up and delivery. I am glad I chose NMS to move me. A special thanks to Jack for all the help.

I received an excellent experience with NMS moving. Their timing was prompt and their customer service was professional. I felt my belongings were in good hands that I could trust and know that they we’re safe. I will definitely return to NMS for all my moving and storage needs.

This was our third time in 5 years getting moved by NWS. The crews are always competent, careful, strong and really hard working. This time they really went the extra mile with our recent multi-destination move, staying late to deal with squeezing some final things into a too-small self-storage locker.  I find that NMS is also a bit unusual among moving companies in that they are willing and able to do a lot of communication via email – which is great for phone-averse people like me. Overall, other companies might quote you less for a move, but we have grown to trust NMS and know that they'll do a good job. (We didn't even bother getting competing quotes for our last move.)

We recently moved across the country from SoCal to South Carolina. NorthStar Moving Systems (I think they are affiliated with Atlas...that’s what name was on the big Vans) was recommended by the realtor who sold our California home. We were VERY pleased with the quality of their service. From Joe who gave me the quote for the job, Emily and Ashley at the local office who fielded my anxious phone calls (a big move is very anxiety inducing...and prepare for major *sticker shock!), to the crews led Andy in CA & John in SC, they were all very good at their respective jobs. Polite, professional, and boy howdy... they know how to hustle when it came to loading and unloading the  moving van! We don’t anticipate ever having to do a big move like this again, but if you are looking for a great company to handle your move from Southern California to where ever life takes you, I give them my enthusiastic & unqualified endorsement. 5 stars and 2 big thumbs up! * Note on the sticker shock. I got a few quotes for this move, and while NMS was not the cheapest they were absolutely the most thorough & accurate in the estimate process. The others were vague and iffy on fees for details of our move, and I felt like there would “Surprise! You owe more than we originally quoted you” moments at the back end. With NMS I had no uneasy feelings. Additionally the total price ended up being about $1500 LESS than expected. So the sticker shock is just the cost of moving a life and household of over 40 years from one end of the country to the other. Unavoidable in our case. And we hade a lot of stuff.

Had to do a last minute move and NMS came through for us.  The two gentlemen that moved us were courteous and professional and did a great job.

In the past 21 years we’ve moved 10 times.  This past move with NMS Moving was by the best move!  The guys were fantastic!  We will definitely use them again!!

Best moving company I've ever used!

I couldn’t of asked for a better experience using NMS Moving Systems. They were the only company that actually came out ahead of time, walked the house to identify what was being moved to prepare a detailed estimate and then offered suggestions of things I could do ahead to save time and money. They showed up on time, we’re quick, efficient and friendly. When completed my bill was 1/3 less than the estimate due to me doing their suggestions ahead of time and their efficiency. Everyone from Jack who came out to estimate the job to Andy and his crew were friendly and just great people to work with. I would use them again without question. Great job guys, thanks so much.

Fantastic experience from start to finish. Highly recommend. This is our 17th move in nearly 30 years. We've had good, and we've had not good. These folks were really good, probably the best all-around we've ever had. Jack did our quote. He was surprisingly quick about it, but very thorough, taking time to talk through different scenarios with us. Emily was our contact at the office, and she was always pleasant to deal with and on top of what was going on, including some scheduling changes. Jared led the crew that packed and loaded us. He paid close attention during the walk-through, then asked questions as we went along to make sure he was remembering correctly. He was about as careful with our things as we are, and we are pretty particular. Raul and Saul helped pack, and they were similarly careful. Jared and Raul were joined by Kyle and Mike on day 2 to load into PODS units. Again, everyone was similarly careful, and they all worked very well together. At the end of the job, they put me in touch with John, who was kind enough to refer me to one of their partners to help unload us at our final destination. Top shelf all the way.

From the initial walk through and proposal, to the entire move, the people at NMS were courteous and professional. I would recommend them without hesitation to anyone needing moving services.

Jack Fishel was very helpful in setting everything up. Andy Babbitt was phenomenal.He was excellent at all aspects of his job and that made a huge difference to our move.

NMS Moving has been incredible to work with! Not only were they extremely timely, but super careful and professional through the entire, arduous moving process! I am super appreciative and I would definitely recommend NMS Moving to anyone of my friends and family for any moving needs. They said they would arrive at a certain time frame, and they came right on the dot. I had two awesome individuals come in and sweep our previous apartment clean and with all proper padding to protect my valuables. It was quite the flight of stairs to our new place, but these men were incredible on their feet and were able to effectively and efficiently move all heavy items.
